The Essenhaus, renowned for its high quality country cuisine, first opened its doors in February of 1995. Owned by Tom and Sandy Hansen, it is truly a family restaurant. The goal of the Essenhaus, which in German means "eating house" is to combine the wholesomeness of the surrounding countryside with the warmth of food made from scratch.
